Release & cleaning
Silicone Spray
Silicone-based release and lubricating spray for moulds and equipment.
What it is
Silicone spray provides a thin, durable film that aids release and lubrication on moulds, rubber components and plastic parts. It suits quick touch-ups, short runs and mechanical lubrication on production equipment.
Where a part will be painted, bonded or coated, use a paintable release agent instead. Our technical team can recommend the correct grade.

View detailsSilicone Spray: frequently asked questions
When should I use silicone spray instead of a mould release agent?
Silicone spray suits short runs, quick mould touch-ups and lubrication of rubber, plastic parts and equipment. For production runs, use a release agent matched to the process.
Can I paint or bond parts released with silicone spray?
No. Silicone is not suitable where parts will be painted, bonded or coated. Use a paintable release agent instead and our technical team can recommend the grade.
How do I apply silicone spray?
Spray from 20 to 25 cm onto a clean surface to form a thin, even film.
What are the pack size and shelf life?
Silicone spray is supplied in bulk packing only. We do not sell it in spray cans or aerosols. Shelf life is 24 months, stored in a cool place.
Can you help set up the spraying equipment?
Yes. We also provide the setup of the spray gun and pressure pot for application.
