Cast Elastomers
Colorants and release agents for cast PU rollers, wheels, liners and industrial parts.
Challenges in cast elastomers
- Colorants that do not affect pot life or hardness
- Clean release from complex moulds
- Surface finish on cast parts
- Colour consistency over multiple pours
How Chemie helps
We supply colour pastes tuned for polyol or pre-polymer systems, plus release agents and mould wax for cast parts. Universal colorants help where processors run PU and other resins on the same site.
Shade development, samples and plant-trial support included

View detailsCast Elastomers: frequently asked questions
Will colour paste change the cast hardness?
At recommended dosing, the effect is negligible. We advise a trial pour for critical grades.
Which release agent suits cast PU parts?
Mould release agents and mould wax are available for cast parts. Silicone spray helps on short runs but is not suitable where parts will be painted or bonded.
Can I use one colorant for both PU and epoxy work?
Universal colorants are designed for sites that run PU and other resins. Compatibility is confirmed by a short trial on your system.
How should I clean cast moulds?
Use a PU mould cleaner matched to your mould material, metal or epoxy, to remove release build-up and PU residue.
